Advocates
"We’re here for you!"
The social turmoil that shook the Starfinder Society in the aftermath of the Data Scourge was the impetus for Zigvigix to found the Advocates faction. Initially dedicated to reuniting and comforting the fracturing membership of the Starfinder Society, today the Advocates serve as literal advocates for all Starfinder agents. Ziggy’s passion, heart, and understanding caused the minor faction’s ranks to quickly swell. Members of the Advocates are sometimes referred to as “Heartloves” as a nod to both their mission and Ziggy’s favorite band (Strawberry Machine Cake).
Faction Leader: Faction Leader
Zigvigix (LG host shirren soldier) A long-standing member of the Exo-Guardians, Zigvigix (Ziggy to their friends) suffered severe injuries prior to the Society’s expedition to the Scoured Stars, which prevented them from taking part in the ill-fated expedition. Despite being overwhelmed with survivor’s guilt, Ziggy took up leadership of the remaining Exo-Guardians. During the Data Scourge, Ziggy was taken prisoner by Historia-Prime, who later used Ziggy’s cybernetics to infect Guidance with a corrupting virus. Ziggy tore out their own cybernetic implants and only recently recovered from the ordeal. Though they admit they have much healing to do, Ziggy takes comfort in their relationship with Celita, their favorite sugar-pop music, and supporting their colleagues and community.
Objectives: The primary objective of the Advocates is to comfort, defend, support, and uplift their fellow Starfinders. They aim to foster bonds of fellowship, ensure appropriate support systems are available to all agents, and improve working conditions within the Starfinder Society. Beyond the Society’s membership, Advocates plan and enact community outreach programs and charity events.
Year 7 Goal: While much of the Advocates duties are internal, and involve the well-being of their fellow Starfinders, the Advocates are also on the ground on Tabrid Minor, to assist the citizens in the face of their planet’s ongoing ecological collapse.
